Modular
Courses are in a modular format. Each course runs for three months and students attend classes one week a month at the College. In addition, the program is offered through correspondence. These options enable students who are currently employed to study while continuing to work.

Program Description

The AFM diploma program prepares individuals to work in the financial management field.  The AFM accounting designation is granted when Yellowquill College diploma candidates successfully complete all courses and meet the requirements of the Aboriginal Financial Officers Association.  In addition, students who want to continue  on to the Chartered Professional Accountant designation may transfer the diploma credits from the AFM program to the Bachelor of Business Administration at the University of Winnipeg.
