First Nation Community Management Diploma (Modular) |


Program Description
This program will prepare students to be able to perform management roles in a First Nation communities by providing them with the required knowledge and skills for all management functions. It replaces the former Health Management, First Nation Social Development and First Nation Home & Community Care Management programs. The two-year diploma program requires the student to complete 20 core management courses plus two courses in the program specialization (Community Health, Social Development or Community Wellness) of the student’s choice. All courses are comprised of 40 hours of study in a one-week modular format. This enables students who are currently employed to study while continuing to work.

- Management Studies I, II, and III
- Networking & Marketing
- Policies & Procedures
- Presentations
- Proposal Writing
Students should complete the two of the following courses
- Medical Terminology I
- Medical Terminology II
Admission Requirements
