STUDENT REFUND POLICY
1. A non-refundable registration fee will apply to all programs to a maximum of $100.00.
2. Students must give written notice of their intent not to proceed with a program of study to
Yellowquill
College
by mail (including electronic) or in person. The college will refund to the student or sponsor any money received except for the registration fee as outlined in #1 above:
Less than thirty (30) calendar days prior to the semester start students must give written notice of their intent not to proceed with a program of study to Yellowquill College by mail (including electronic) or in person. The college will refund to the student or sponsor any money received except for:
· The registration fee as outlined in #1 above.
3. After the start of a semester students must give written notice of their intent to discontinue with a program of study to
Yellowquill
College by mail (including electronic) or in person. The college will refund to the student or sponsor any money received except:
· The registration fee as outlined in #1 above; and,
· The fees earned will be calculated on the basis of elapsed time as follows:
a) if four (4) weeks or less of a program of instruction has been provided, 25% of the student’s tuition;
b) when more than four (4) weeks, but eight weeks or less of the program of instruction has been provided, 50% of the student’s tuition;
c) when more than eight (8) weeks of the program of instruction has been provided, 100% of the student’s tuition.
4. Where Yellowquill College has provided the student with equipment and/or supplies in addition to written material for a program, the college may charge for such equipment and/or supplies not exceeding the cost of the equipment and/or supplies, except where the person returns all of the equipment and/or supplies to the institution unopened or as issued, within ten (10) days of the receipt of the equipment and/or supplies by the student.
5. Where Yellowquill College has, after the start of a semester, dismissed a student due to academic failure or failure to pay required fees as due, the college will within thirty (30) days of issuing the notice of dismissal, refund any money paid by or on behalf of the student to the student or sponsor except fees as outlined in #4 above.
6. Where
Yellowquill
College is required to refund money under #4 above, the college will refund the student or sponsor within thirty (30) days of receipt of the notice.
7. Where
Yellowquill
College has received tuition in excess of the amount that the college is entitled to, the college must refund the excess.
8.
Yellowquill
College reserves the right to withhold any and all student information such as mid-term marks, final marks, transcripts and diplomas upon non-payment of tuition and fees.
9. For all modular programs no refund will be issued after the first day of class.
